Hello world!

  • I tried the Rorick Heritage Omen Barbera 2019 for the first time. I think I have found my weekend summer wine. The raspberry and cranberry blend is light and refreshing. It reminds of lazy, sunny summer days in which I am lounging on the lawn with a picnic spread and a good book.

    • Thanks for letting us know Barbara! We think that Rorick Barbera is something special too.

It’s Wine Club only, but we will have some extra wine to put on the shelves after everyone has picked up their club package. We’ll be sure to let everyone know when that is.

  • Bruce, the wife and I loved both of the Fableist wines, and were wondering when any extra would be available for purchase, and if there was a list to get on to do so when the rest was released.

  • First, I am now the proud owner of a Coravin. Second, I christened the inaugural use on Planetes de Nin. Is it just me, or is the ultimate chocolate wine?

We just tried the Planetes. Our plan was to try it with the Coravin system but we had to have a second glass. I’m still trying to identify the unusual flavor which has dissipated. Floral, maybe? Something in the realm of baking? Savory? Regardless, it paired beautifully with prosciutto. We tried it with chocolate, not bad, but maybe not my choice. Quite lovely. We finished the bottle. Yum.

  • Just signed up @ the collectors level. Excited to get my first months wine May 1st. Love the local pick up!

    • Fantastic Lise, thanks for joining the club! Just to be clear, your club membership will start May 1st, but the wines are available at the store for pickup the 15th of each month.

      • Thank you Bruce, after reading the email giving the details about the wines for May, I’m anxiously awaiting my first club wines, on the 15th!

  • Just opened the Veronica Ortega Quite. Brilliant wine. We did use an aerator. I think this will be a great summer weight wine. It does drink very much like an Oregon Pinot Noir. I may have to order more of this.
