February 20, 2021 at 3:31 pmI tried the Rorick Heritage Omen Barbera 2019 for the first time. I think I have found my weekend summer wine. The raspberry and cranberry blend is light and refreshing. It reminds of lazy, sunny summer days in which I am lounging on the lawn with a picnic spread and a good book.

It’s Wine Club only, but we will have some extra wine to put on the shelves after everyone has picked up their club package. We’ll be sure to let everyone know when that is.

April 10, 2021 at 6:42 pmWe just tried the Planetes. Our plan was to try it with the Coravin system but we had to have a second glass. I’m still trying to identify the unusual flavor which has dissipated. Floral, maybe? Something in the realm of baking? Savory? Regardless, it paired beautifully with prosciutto. We tried it with chocolate, not bad, but maybe not my choice. Quite lovely. We finished the bottle. Yum.
